My name is Kelvin Luu and welcome to my blog post! As the title suggests, this post will be about the social media presence of Monster Energy and their effective use of various social media networks to promote their energy drinks. The brand is known for selling a variety of different types of energy drinks ranging from
zero calories and zero sugar to
extra strength to non-carbonated. Their social media networks include
Facebook,
Twitter,
YouTube,
Google+, and
Instagram.

Monster Energy posts almost daily and after every few hours on each of their social media networks. After browsing their website, I noticed that Monster Energy prefers using Facebook more to promote their products and sponsors (ex. Monster Energy Army, Gaming, Girls, Music, and Military) compared to any other network. In terms of interaction with their audience, they usually post comments or reply to comments on their official Facebook page. Most of the content that is posted are pictures and videos of extreme sports, athletes, events and promotions that are being sponsored by them. The main purpose of these posts is to engage their consumers and generate interest by showing their involvement with various organizations and exciting events instead of just offering simple energy drinks.

Monster Energy's presence on social media has earned them about 24 million likes on Facebook and around 2.9 million followers on both Twitter and Instagram.
In conclusion, the number of daily posts; the content of their posts; and their comments on social media networks has established a firm and well-known digital presence for the benefit of both Monster Energy and their fellow fans.
